We do not recruit Sales Advisors via the careers website, so if you're looking for a Sales Advisor position, you can pick up an application form in-store. Simply drop in and one of our team will be able to help. Please note: you must be at least 16 years old in order to work at New Look.

There's a new store opening near me – how do I find out if there are any vacancies?

For store management roles, keep checking this careers website. Details of any Sales Advisor positions will be available in one of our nearby stores – just visit your nearest New Look and ask for more information.

Do you offer short-term work experience placements?

At New Look, we support the principles of developing skills and encouraging community ties. As such, we offer short-term, unpaid work experience placements across a number of core functions according to the demand and capacity of individual departments. To be eligible, applicants must be in full-time education. If you would like to be considered for a future placement, please complete the application form below and email it to: workexperience@newlook.com. All applications will be acknowledged and if you have not heard back from the work experience team within 4 weeks, unfortunately we are not able to offer you a placement at this time.

What are the best positions to apply for as an entry-level or graduate applicant?

We do not currently have a Graduate Scheme in place but depending upon which area of the business interests you, we have various positions which would be suitable for graduates or entry-level applicants who are interested in working within our Support Centres.

For Buying or Merchandising careers, keep a look out for 'Graduate Merchandising Opportunities' or 'Graduate Buying Opportunities' as well as individual vacancies for 'Merchandise Admin Assistant' (MAA) or 'Buyers Admin Assistant' (BAA).

We also regularly have 'Graduate IT opportunities' advertised within our Weymouth office. For all other departments, suitable positions will most commonly be advertised at 'Assistant' level.

What do I need to prepare for an interview at New Look?

The preparation for your interview will of course depend upon the position for which you are applying and you will be briefed in advance by a member of our Recruitment Team. As a rule, however, we would ask anyone who is interested in working for New Look to thoroughly read through the role description and also visit a store to familiarise themselves with the current ‘goings-on’ within the business.

Do New Look accept speculative CV's from recruiters?

New Look operates an approved supplier list for each business area and will not accept speculative submissions. All CVs must be submitted via our online portal and this can only be done if you are an approved supplier that we have agreed terms of business with. We will refuse to pay any invoices as a result of speculative approaches.

How long will it take for my application to be processed?

Please be patient when submitting your application. You will receive an e-mail acknowledgement but it can take up to 4 weeks for your application to be processed.

Can I apply if I don't have a work permit?

No, unfortunately we are unable to accept applications from candidates who do not have a valid work permit or visa. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide evidence of your right to work in your chosen location.

How do I apply as an internal applicant for in-store vacancies?

In the first instance, speak to your line manager to make them aware of your interest in the vacancy; they will be able to put you in contact with the relevant store or regional manager.
